On our research support pages you will find everything you need as a scientist. You can find the following information here:
Open Access Publishing
The University Library supports university members in all organizational matters relating to open access publishing. It manages the publication fund, provides publication platforms for open access publications and operates the RUB document repository.
Dissertations & Habilitations
The University Library's Exchange and Publication Office accepts the compulsory submission of dissertations and habilitations and issues the certificates required for the receipt of doctoral certificates.
University Bibliography
The University Bibliography lists the publications of RUB academics. If a person's ORCID profile is linked to the university bibliography, the publication data is automatically synchronized between the university bibliography and ORCID.
ORCID
The Open Contributor and Researcher ID is the internationally recognized personal identifier for scientists. It connects researchers with their research. RUB is a member of ORCID and recommends the use of this identifier in its publication guidelines. You can link ORCID with the university bibliography to exchange publication data.
Bibliometrics
Bibliometric analyses provide information about the visibility and impact of research by individuals, projects and organizations. We advise on bibliometric topics and questions and support scientists and research projects in the selection of suitable tools and indicators.
Research Data Management
Research data is generated in all disciplines in different formats and volumes. Data management covers the entire process from planning, collection and storage of data to questions of archiving and publication or provision. The University Library is part of the Research Data Services. We support you with your data management at RUB.
Digital Humanities Center (DHC)
The Digital Humanities Centre (DHC) promotes the integration of information technology in the humanities and supports the implementation of DH projects at RUB. In addition, the DHC networks researchers on campus by organizing workshops and conferences such as the DH Day.
