Our Services
The DHC supports DH research projects at all project stages - from the initiation of projects to their follow-up. Our services are aimed at both DH newcomers and people with more extensive DH knowledge.
Our services include counseling sessions in the context of DH project applications. Here, the DHC team works with the researchers to determine whether the DH component of the project (targeted tools, methods) is suitable for the respective project idea and which resources would be required for implementation and may need to be acquired via project funding.
Our service is always based on the respective project requirements and the available personnel resources. The DHC service catalogue provides an overview of possible services:

- Consultancy on project ideas, methods and tools in the Digital Humanities
- Advice on the technical aspects and assessment of the technical feasibility of a DH project
- Identification, evaluation and configuration of a suitable digital tool
- Organisation of events, workshops and working groups for those interested in DH in cooperation with the DH ecosystem of the RUB
- Technical coordination and implementation of DH projects as a partner in project applications
- Provision, customization and development of generic DH software solutions
- Project-specific software developments*
- Provision of an IT infrastructure for the Digital Humanities at RUB
- Software operation and technical support during the project period
- Interface to the RUB DH ecosystem
- Project-specific software developments are possible if they meet the needs of the RUB DH community. Ideally, development capacities for these should be acquired via the project application.
