A course reserve contains the literature required by all participants in a course. At the request of the lecturers, the University Library provides the required books, journal volumes and other media from the RUB library stock at the information/service desk, where they can be used on site during service hours. This literature cannot be borrowed during the current semester. In the RUB Primo Catalog it is displayed with the location "Infotheke/Semesterapparat".

Digitally available literature such as (chapters from) e-books or articles from electronic journals is usually uploaded to the Moodle learning platform by the lecturers.

Lecturers who would like to set up a reserve collection should send their literature list with literature already available at the RUB a few weeks before the start of the semester - please include the location details and shelfmarks - and, if necessary, a further e-mail with acquisition suggestions to erwerbung.ub@rub.de.
