1.2 million euros for Open Access
The DFG has approved Ruhr University's application as part of the Open Access Publication Costs funding program. It will provide a total of 1.2 million euros until 2027 to strengthen RUB's open access publication funds managed by the University Library.
Over 1,400 RUB articles have been funded since 2024. The option to apply for funding for the publication of open access books from DFG projects has now been added.
