City cycling 2024: UB collects kilometers
In May 2024, Ruhr-Universität Bochum invited all employees and students to take part in the “City Cycling 2024” campaign. From 3 to 23 May, all participants were able to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way and collect as many kilometers as possible. The aim was to make a valuable contribution to the environment and nature, as well as to promote their own well-being.
So far, the RUB has achieved a remarkable second place in our community – the UB has contributed 4072 km (Graphic: 27.5.2024):
