There are 7 group study rooms available within the library. A room can be booked for a maximum of 6 hours per day, bookings can be made up to 14 days in advance.
To start your reservation, please come to the information desk, where you can collect the key for the room against a deposit. You can also borrow whiteboard markers and HDMI cables from the counter.
Use of the Library
Weekend lending: Books can be borrowed from Friday to Monday by library students and other faculty members at the information desk.
Theses: For students of the Faculty of Social Science who are currently writing their Bachelor's or Master's thesis (written proof from the chair or examination office), it is possible to work at a fixed, allocated workstation in the GD library during opening hours.
Lockers: Lockers can be borrowed for the day from the information desk on presentation of your student ID or for a deposit.
Note on use
We would like to point out that eating and drinking (with the exception of water in transparent plastic bottles) is not permitted in the library!
We therefore ask you to leave food and drinks in your bag or lock them in the lockers that are now available.
